EA Sports PGA Tour will launch on March 24, 2023. Prior to EA’s announcement that the game would be delayed by one year, the EA Tiburon-developed title was scheduled for a spring 2022 release. This week, EA also unveiled the game’s official gameplay trailer and issued a statement from Cam Weber, the general manager of EA Sports, in which he said: EA Sports has published the PGA Tour video game franchise since 1990. In 1997, EA Sports signed Tiger Woods to a deal to use him exclusivity as the face of the franchise. However, in 2013, the video game publisher cut ties with the well-known golfer, and Rory McIlroy took his place on the 2015 Rory McIlroy PGA Tour. EA Sports PGA Tour will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
