After the death of his wife, Kratos sets off on a quest with his son Atreus to spread her ashes from the highest peak. The journey tests the relationship between father and son as they battle the Norse Gods. God of War will be written by Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby. Fergus and Ostby co-wrote the Children of Men which was nominated for an Academy Award. The pair also co-wrote the screenplay for the first Ironman movie.
